Our first REAL home renovation!!

As we mentioned before, we got a new pool table for Christmas and have proceeded to turn our "storage room" of a basment into an official RecRoom! The project went pretty fast thanks to my AMAZING management skills (he he :-P)and is now mostly complete. First we chose the paint colors and I gave in to a blue for Jeremy (shows how much I love him!) and a tan for me... and the tan matches the table felt perfectly! Yay, Home Depot color matching! Then I shopped for some basic decor... then a TV... and then a new berber carpet was laid yesterday. It looks so fantastic and Jeremy is the most excited I've seen him. This is DEFINITELY his most favorite room in the house ;-)


After the basement came the upstairs spare bathroom and our laundry room! The floors were originally a white an gray linoleum (uck!) and we decided to add ceramic tile. Sorry there are no before pics, but I'm sure you can imagine the hideousness! ha! Neither room is still done... much more to do!... but it's a start.

HOME REMODELING IS SOOOOO ADDICTIVE!!! :-P :-P :-P
